We will list them for free until they sell, for 50% of each sale. Keep the records in your possession. Name your own selling price or we can guide you as to their worth. When we find a buyer, you mail and we'll send you your 50% plus the postage. We have had this successful arrangement with a number of collectors throughout the country since 1999.
You will have to grade them for us so we can evaluate if we can sell them. We will need an alphabetical list, each record on one line, with the following 6 items:
1. Name of Artist (last name first)
2. Title of Album
3. Company & Catalog Number
4. Stereo (S) or Monaural (M)
5. Price (leave blank if you don't know.)
6. Condition is very important: you must be scrupulously honest in grading condition as credit card companies require that we accept returns. We list condition Cover/Disk on a 10-7 Scale in the upper left hand corner under the title of each individual record.
10 = M (Mint condition)
9 = NM (Near Mint)
8 = VG+ ( Less than NM, better than VG)
7 = VG (Very Good)
For instance: "SINATRA, FRANK - COME FLY WITH ME - Capitol ABC 12345 (S) — 10/9." Be sure and list any extras — if boxed or multiple set — how many lp's — vinyl special color — booklet? — poster? — foreign? — (describe so someone will buy it)
